Resources
Sprites, backgrounds, sounds, etc. are always in high demand. On this page you will find
some resource packs created by me and others. The responsibility for the contents rests with the
creators. You can either download the installing version that automatically puts them in the
Game Maker folder, or as a zip file.
These resource packs are made for Game Maker version 6. They can though also be used
with previous version. In that case though, during installation, you might want to change
the install directory and program group.
The first resource pack contains a large number of different sprites, sounds, and background
that can be used in may different games.

Scripts and Extensions
Here you can find a some useful scripts and DLLs that extend the functionality of
Game Maker.
Support for Other Music Formats
Martin Rijks has made a DLL that extends the functionality of Game Maker
such that it can play MOD/S3M/XM/IT music files. The package has been completely
rewritten for version 6. It contains many extremely useful features, including
a packer for your music files.
It is very simple to use and opens many
new possibibilities for music in your games. The package can be used for free
although there are some licence issues if you want to sell your games. The
package includes two great demonstration programs, one being a MOD file player.
Download the package here. Don't forget to read the doc.
