Halfway February 2007 the new version 7.0 of Game Maker will appear. Version 7.0 will use a different registration mechanism than previous versions. Although existing registered users of Game Maker can obtain a new key for free, we decided that it did not make sense to sell registration keys for version 6 anymore.

Also the sales and distribution of Game Maker has been taken over by a new company called YoYo Games. They are currently setting up the online payment system which will soon be available through the website http://www.yoyogames.com/upgrade.

As a result of these developments it is currently not possible to register Game Maker. Please check halfway February back here or at the page indicated above. You can then buy Game Maker version 7.0 which is fully compatible with version 6.1.
